Reliable Power for Communication Infrastructure
Communication and network facilities require stable power quality to support continuous operation of critical electrical and IT systems.
Typical Case:
Chindata Malaysia MY06 PH05 Project
Project Background: The Malaysia MY06 PH05 project is a data center infrastructure project developed by Chindata Group in Malaysia. As a critical digital infrastructure facility, the project requires reliable power supply and high power quality performance to support the continuous operation of data center systems.
Challenges: Data center facilities involve a large number of power electronic devices and high-density electrical loads. These nonlinear loads may generate harmonic distortion and reactive power fluctuations, which can affect the stability and efficiency of the power distribution system.
INPOWER provided a comprehensive power quality improvement solution for the Chindata Malaysia MY06 PH05 Project, including:
- Reactive Power Compensation System
- BLUEWAVE Active Power Filter (APF)
The installed capacity included:
- Reactive power compensation: 10,400 kvar
- Active Power Filter: 4,800A
The solution was designed to mitigate harmonic issues, optimize reactive power management, and improve overall power quality performance, helping support the stable operation of critical electrical systems.
