Addressing Power Quality Challenges in Renewable Integration

Renewable Energy · Power Quality Solution

For renewable energy integration scenarios, INPOWER SVG provides millisecond-level dynamic response, bidirectional inductive and capacitive reactive power compensation, and simultaneous mitigation of 2nd–25th order harmonics to meet grid interconnection power quality requirements.

Typical Case:
Hithium Energy Storage Technology

Project Background: Hithium Energy Storage Technology is a key industrial project in Fujian Province and a national high-tech enterprise, specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of lithium iron phosphate energy storage batteries and systems.

Challenges: The production process involves extensive use of variable frequency drive (VFD) equipment, resulting in severe harmonic distortion. The THDi reached 20%-30%, causing issues such as abnormal transformer noise, temperature rise, protection relay malfunctions, and inaccurate metering.

Typical Case:<br>Hithium Energy Storage Technology

INPOWER implemented an SVG + APF hybrid solution (APF capacity: 12,350A; SVG capacity: 12,100kvar).
After mitigation, harmonic distortion indicators fully complied with relevant standards, significantly improving equipment operating stability:
